
As part of the ongoing scientific and academic collaboration between the University of Karbala and other Iraqi universities, Assistant Professor Dr. Khalid Abdul-Nabi Al-Asadi, a faculty member in the Department of Arabic Language at the College of Islamic Sciences – University of Karbala, chaired the ministerial committee tasked with reviewing the proposal to establish a Master’s program in Arabic Language – Literature at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Babylon. Dr. Al-Asadi and the committee have commenced their work by following up on all procedures related to the proposed program.
The committee held a consultative meeting with the college’s officials to discuss the proposed academic program, its structure, and the requirements for establishing postgraduate studies in accordance with approved ministerial standards. It also conducted a field tour to review the academic and administrative infrastructure, educational facilities, and to ensure compliance with the academic criteria necessary for the successful implementation of the program.
This participation comes as part of the continuous efforts of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to develop academic programs and expand postgraduate studies in Iraqi universities, thereby strengthening scientific integration across higher education institutions.
