Under the auspices of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Dhurgham Al-Mousawi, the five-a-side football tournament for students of the college departments was concluded on Tuesday, corresponding to 11/29/2022, by crowning the team of the Department of Jurisprudence and its Principles with the championship cup after its victory over the team of the Arabic Language Department

The match, which took place at the stadium of the College of Education for Human Sciences, was attended by the Associate Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Professor Dr. Musallam Al-Asadi, and professors and heads of departments in the college, and it was arbitrated by Captain Muhammad Al-Furati.

At the end of the championship activities, which aim to support sports and cultivate the spirit of love and cooperation between the various scientific departments, medals, prizes and gifts were distributed to the winning teams and the organizing committee.

The College of Islamic Sciences conducts the semi-final matches for the five-a-side football

On Sunday, corresponding to 11/27/2022, the semi-final matches of the College of Islamic Sciences for five-a-side football took place at the stadium of the College of Education for Human Sciences.

In the first match, the team of the Department of Jurisprudence and its Principles met with the team of the Department of Qur’anic Studies, and the match ended with the victory of the team of the Department of Jurisprudence and its Principles with a score of (6-2). (1) With the team of the Arabic Language Department (2), and the result ended with the victory of the Arabic Language Department (1) with a score of (7-3), and thus the team qualifies for the final to play for the first and second places.

With this victory, the final match between the qualified teams will be held on Tuesday 11/29/2022
