The course, entitled Introduction to the Arabic Manuscript Book, was attended by Professor Rogia Foster and Professor Mahmoud Zaki. It included lectures on the physical description of the manuscript and a study of the nature of fonts, inks, types of paper and types of fonts. .

It is noteworthy that the course consisted of two lectures per day, each lecture two hours. With the participation of more than (2000) participants from different countries of the world.
The intensive session was concluded with the last session with a lecture entitled: (Understanding the Heritage Text).
