Professor Dr. Durgham Karim Al-Mousawi, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, was chosen to participate in the discussion of the doctoral thesis of student Natiq Abdul-Sattar Jaber, tagged (administrative provisions in Islamic law). Faculty of Jurisprudence, and his participation came as a member of the discussion committee.

The discussion was attended by a number of Fiqh faculty and graduate students, and after a public objective discussion of all the details of the thesis and the results it reached and the student’s defense of his thesis, the committee recommended granting the student a doctorate degree in the field of Jurisprudence and its principles.

It should be noted that the professors of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences participate permanently in the special committees to discuss master’s theses and doctoral theses for Iraqi university students because of their long experience in the scientific process, in addition to their excellence and competence in the field of higher university education.
