The Department of Arabic Language at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences – University of Karbala held a new session within its meetings organized at the beginning of each new academic year. The meeting was organized by Prof. Dr. Muslim Malik Al-Asadi, Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs and Assistant Professor Dr. Safa Hussain Latif, Head of the Arabic Language Department, and teacher Esraa Mahdi Shahid, rapporteur of the Language Department. Arabic and in the presence of the department’s teachers, at ten o’clock on Wednesday, and at Al-Sadiq Al-Amin Hall in the college.

The meeting dealt with discussing a number of scientific and administrative topics and issues related to the teaching process in the department and the new academic year began, including discussing the preparations for delivering in-person and electronic scientific lectures at their scheduled times according to the schedule and organizing seminars and discussion panels. Graduate students’ research papers of the fourth stage, and the titles of theses and dissertations for graduate students, as well as a discussion of some performance evaluation mechanisms for teachers by Dr. Faiza Thaaban Mansi, Director of the Quality Assurance Division at the college.

In the end, the valuable inputs and inquiries were listened to by the attending professors, which would improve the faculty and the department.
