The Department of Qur’anic Studies at the College of Islamic Sciences organized a workshop under the title (General notes and exercises on writing the graduation thesis for fourth-year students). In addition to avoiding the most common methodological, formal and spelling errors that most fourth-year students make when writing their graduation research;

The workshop was moderated by the teacher, Dr. Wiam Youssef Nasser, and the teacher. Amal Abdel Mohsen Tayeh, and the most important of these errors were presented and alerted to them, as well as the presentation of the most important methodological points that the student can follow in writing his research to be successful and accepted by the discussion committee, including (how to write the introduction and the preamble, methods and methods for arranging margins within the research, how to take advantage of Sources and references and their transfer, how to organize proven sources and references, in addition to pointing out a number of linguistic, spelling and grammatical errors common to fourth stage students.

After that, the participating students were distributed in the form of groups, and researches from previous academic years were distributed to them after hiding the name of the student and the name of the supervisor. The participants were asked to browse through them within half an hour and extract the most important errors in them according to what was presented at the beginning of the workshop. Then the workshop ended with each group presenting what they discovered of errors in the research and discussing it with them directly; Which helped the participating students to understand these errors well and motivate them to avoid them in writing their own research as much as possible, so that these researches are characterized by the integrity and scientific sobriety required in university research.
