It was discussed in the Qur’anic Studies Department – College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, a master’s student’s thesis: Zainab Nuri Jalil Al-Maslawi, tagged with (Jurisprudence rulings for people with mental illnesses in Imami jurisprudence – presentation and analysis), at nine o’clock in the morning on Monday, and in the hall Al-Sadiq Al-Amin in college.

The researcher pointed out that mental illness is a manifestation of human weakness, which is a affliction from God Almighty that affects the good, the bad, the obedient, and the disobedient. Diseases may affect the patient’s eligibility and thus affect his legal costs, and that the psychiatric patient and his family need to know the legal rulings related to these diseases, and the specialized doctors and psychiatrists need to establish the jurisprudence of these diseases, so this message came to shed light on the jurisprudence provisions Related to people with mental illnesses, and this thesis is a pioneer of its kind, as this topic has not been addressed by researchers and scholars in Imami jurisprudence before..
