Assistant Professor Dr. Hamid Jassim Aboud Al-Ghurabi, a teaching assistant in the Qur’anic Studies Department, College of Islamic Sciences, participated in the introductory symposium held by Sharif Al-Ulama, which was held in the Basra University and in the Sayeda Al-Zahra’ hall in cooperation with the College of Education for Girls and the Center for Reviving the Cultural and Religious Heritage of the Holy Imam Hussainiya.
Dr. Al-Ghurabi represented the college through managing the symposium sessions, which focused on the biography and heritage of the honorable Mazandarani scholars, the scientific centers in Holy Karbala and the manuscripts that the Heritage Revival Center achieved. The delegation visited the art exhibitions held at the university, as well as the establishment of two exhibitions of rare pictures and artifacts under the auspices of the Husseini Museum Affiliated to the Imam Hussainiya Shrine.
The delegation met with the Dean of a College for Girls and its professors, and it was agreed to update the data of professors with scientific titles for the purpose of cooperating with them in scientific discussions. He received a certificate of participation in appreciation of his participation in the symposium.
