Under the patronage of the President of the University of Karbala, Prof. Dr. Bassem Khalil Al-Saidi, and under the supervision of the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Najm Abdul-Hussein Negm, and with the participation and cooperation of the Center for Continuing Education – the Presidency of the University, the College of Islamic Sciences held a scientific symposium entitled (Classical Arabic Arrangements) at ten o’clock in the morning on Tuesday, 11 /1/2022 and on the Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) hall in the college.

The workshop, which was attended by Dr. Haider Azab and Dr. Sarmad Adel, dealt with several axes related to the emergence of the Arabic language and the most important characteristics mentioned by grammarians and linguists, in addition to reviewing the opinions of Arab and Western linguists and their theories about linguistic patterns.
