Discussion of a master’s thesis in the College of Islamic Sciences about luxury and its Quranic formats

A discussion took place in the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala and in Imam Hussein Hall (peace be upon him), a master’s thesis on luxury and its Qur’anic patterns in the poetry of the Andalusian kings and princes was discussed by the student Jaafar Sadiq Wahab on Tuesday 12/4/2022

The researcher indicated in his letter that the Qur’anic systems showed in the poetry of the kings and princes of Andalusia the severity of the applicability of luxury and its impact on this class. Literature is not limited to pursuing the contents of texts and their aesthetic techniques, but goes beyond reading the text and its audience and the reality surrounding them, so the human research in the field of literature with this reading is closer to life, because if literature does not touch the realities of life that include that text and its audience, then there is no point in literature.

The discussion committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Ali Kazem Al-Maslawi from Karbala University – College of Human Education – as chairperson, and Prof. Dr.: Amjad Hamid Abdullah from Karbala University – College of Islamic Sciences – as member. Professor: Raeda Mahdi Jaber from the University of Babylon, College of Basic Education, as a member, and Assistant Professor Dr.: Safaa Hussein Latif – University of Karbala – College of Islamic Sciences – as a member and supervisor.
