The training course aims at acquiring the students the competencies of planning, implementation and evaluation necessary for teaching the Holy Qur’an and Islamic education, as the cooperative learning and brainstorming strategy was employed to achieve the course objectives.
The training course witnessed interaction by the students with the training axes, and the students on the first day acquired the ability to formulate behavioral goals at six levels. This was clearly demonstrated through the students’ outputs (worksheets). On the second day of the course, students will be trained on classroom skills to implement those goals.
For his part, the Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Dhurgham Al-Mousawi, made several observations regarding training, including the need for Islamic science students to acquire the ability to convert text into behavior.
