The students of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala began their official attendance for the new academic year for primary studies: morning and evening, according to the university calendar (2022-2023) approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Dhargham Karim Al-Mousawi, said that the college has completed all its preparations to welcome the new academic year (2022-2023) and prepare all the basic needs and requirements for students to make the educational process successful and raise the level of educational outcomes.
He also indicated that the admission plan for this year will witness a growth rate in its inputs estimated at more than (65%) for the morning and evening studies compared to the previous year, as the admission plan for this year included allocating (300) seats for morning studies and the same for evening studies.
Al-Moussawi added that the college was keen to create academic and research climates conducive to success and excellence to meet the aspirations of students and develop their preparations and abilities; In order to build a conscious generation that carries the message of Islam and is able to face the challenges of the era, its requirements and developments in accordance with a spirit based on the cultural heritage of Islam and its tolerant principles.
For his part, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Musallam Malik Al-Asadi, said that the college is keen to develop an attractive environment that enhances academic success in addition to building students’ personality through a variety of activities and events accompanying the curriculum and various means of support.
