The Department of Quranic Studies at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala organized a scientific trip for students of the third stage in the department to the Central Library in Babil Governorate on Sunday, 12/4/2022

The visit, in which the students were accompanied by the Director of the Libraries Department, Professor Rahim Al-Jaafari, Dr. Haider Al-Husseinawi, Professor of Library and Research Methodology, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Jubouri, Professor of Quranic Miracles, aimed at identifying letters, treatises, valuable books, magazines and periodicals, as well as introducing students to the way to search for the books they need easily. It is facilitated through the electronic index program.

The students were briefed on the library’s treasures and its valuable sources, organized according to the Dewey Decimal Classification. The scientific trip included a visit to the ruins of Babylon to inform the students of the most important archaeological monuments in Babylon.
