Under the supervision of the head of the Quranic Studies department at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nazim Mohammed, the graduation research papers for fourth-year students for the academic year 2022-2023 were discussed for both the morning and evening study programs on Sunday, May 7th, 2023 at 10:00 am.
The research discussion was held in the department’s halls, where committees of department professors were formed, including the Committee on Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence and Islamic Jurisprudence, the Committee on Quranic Sciences and Interpretation, the Committee on Arabic Language, Grammar, and Rhetoric, the Committee on the Prophet’s Biography, Quranic History, and Human Rights, and the Committee on Educational Psychology and Curricula. The professors expressed their comments and evaluations on the completed research papers.
It is worth mentioning that the students were also discussed regarding their understanding of the research methodology, type, and how to achieve research objectives. In addition, inquiries were made about the research problem of each student, their understanding of the theories related to research variables, their knowledge of the terminology of their research, as well as how to set objectives, hypotheses, and verify them.
