A faculty member from the College of Islamic Sciences is participating in the defense of a doctoral dissertation

Assistant Professor Faiza Tha’ban Mansi, from the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, participated in the public defense held at the Department of Arabic Language in the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Karbala.

The doctoral student, Imad Talib Musa, defended his dissertation titled “The Movement of Meaning from Structure to Discourse: A Study in Concept and Implementation” on Monday, May 22, 2023.

The defense committee consisted of:

  • Prof. Mohammed Hussein Ali (Member)
  • Prof. Laith Qabel Obaid (Member)
  • Assoc. Prof. Faiza Tha’ban Mansi (Member)
  • Prof. Adel Nazir Berry (Member and Supervisor)

The dissertation was approved with an excellent rating.
