The discussion of the master’s thesis titled “Explanatory Research in the Book of Durar Al-Farad fi Explanation of Rules” took place in the hall of Imam Al-Hussein (PBUH) in the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala – a presentation and analysis by the student Dilshad Hashem Issa.
The importance of the research lies in the extent of its influence on the studies that followed the development of the book Al-Durar Al-Farad. Ijtihadism at the front.
After reaching the final research outskirts, the research concluded its conclusions with results that are almost as follows:
1 – The scientific and intellectual environment in which Allama al-Hilli grew up had a great impact on his genius, which was reflected in his diligence in his jurisprudential issues and his exploration of interpretation and the sciences of the Qur’an, jurisprudence, principles, hadith, men and other sciences, to obtain the title of the scholar, so his writings were according to what was imposed on him by the nature of the jurisprudential and scientific study .
2 – Given the importance of the book (The Rules of Rulings in Knowing the Lawful and the Prohibited) in the jurisprudential study, the jurists focused on it with explanations and comments, until the explanations on it reached nearly thirty, which caught the attention of Sheikh Al-Muzaffar, and it was an incentive for him to explain it.
3- It became clear to the researcher that the book of Rules of Rulings by Allama al-Hilli is devoid of reasoning in the texts of the Glorious Qur’an, as well as from the hadiths of the purified Sunnah – except for what is rare – that the book of rules is in the status of a practical message, which motivated Sheikh Al-Muzaffar with his scientific and explanatory ability to mention the places of reasoning, whether in the Holy Quran or Sunnah honorable.
