The researcher reached a number of results, including:
The image of the martyr is a source of life, rather it creates life, not as some imagine it to be killing, sabotaging or destroying life, and it is the spirit that nourishes the approach of resistance and the true moral supporter of every jihad. The diversity of the meaning of testimony between language and terminology. Among the many meanings mentioned by the language dictionaries, the research referred to the meaning of presence, knowledge, news, and slain for the sake of God and life. The researcher also reached an enrichment of the meaning of the martyr in the Holy Qur’an and the ancient Arab heritage, as the early scholars stood at many meanings and great connotations carried by the meaning of the martyr, all of which indicated the lofty status enjoyed by the martyr. It is related to the dignity that the martyr gets from God Almighty, and that talking about the martyr is related to holiness, faith and dignity.
