The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala held a special workshop for indexing scientific journals in global compilations, at ten o’clock on Sunday, corresponding to 25/6/2023, in the hall of Al-Sadiq Al-Amin (PBUH) in the college.

Professor Dr. Ahmed Mahmoud Abdel Latif and Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Salah Hamid from the College of Sciences lectured. And it was administered by the faculty at the college, Assistant Professor Dr. Hassan Al-Juzaili.

The workshop aimed to familiarize the members of the editorial boards of journals with the conditions and controls for entry into the global containers, and to give an idea to researchers about the Iraqi scientific journals that entered the global containers, in addition to introducing the mechanism for examining electronic ingestion of scientific research.

The workshop included in its first axis: indexing the Iraqi journals in the discreet global compilations, while the second axis is examining the reliability of the journals, while the third axis touched on examining the electronic search for research.

The workshop targeted members of the editorial board of scientific journals, researchers, teachers and postgraduate students.
