The discussion of a master’s thesis at the College of Islamic Sciences on Semantic Collaboration in Dr. Hadi Hassan Hamoudi’s Interpretation of Quranic Terms

A master’s thesis titled “Semantic Collaboration in the Understanding of Quranic Terms by Dr. Hadi Hassan Hamoudi” was discussed at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala. The thesis, presented by student Aya Hatem Maan Taher, aimed to explore the semantic collaboration in Dr. Hadi Hassan Hamoudi’s interpretation of Quranic terms. The discussion took place in the Saadiq Al-Ameen (peace be upon him) Hall within the college.

The motivation behind selecting this topic was the recognition that Dr. Hadi’s works had not received adequate scholarly attention, despite containing valuable linguistic insights. The research focused exclusively on Dr. Hadi Hassan’s linguistic contributions, particularly in the realm of Quranic linguistics, by analyzing words with semantic collaboration in their contextual usage. This linguistic exploration was deemed crucial for a correct understanding of Quranic verses.

The examining committee, consisting of the following members, evaluated the thesis:

  1. Professor Dr. Jannan Mansour Kadhim from the University of Karbala, College of Education (Chair).
  2. Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Athab Hussein from the College of Imam Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) (Member).
  3. Assistant Professor Dr. Ma’ali Hashim Ali from the University of Karbala, College of Islamic Sciences (Member).
  4. Professor Dr. Wafaa Abbas from the University of Karbala, College of Islamic Sciences (Member and Supervisor).

The thesis was approved with distinction at the end of the discussion.
