A semiotic study at the College of Islamic Sciences on the relationship between the signifier and the signified in Quranic examples

At the University of Karbala, in the College of Islamic Sciences, the defense of the master’s thesis by researcher Zainab Hadi Ali Nasser, titled “The Relationship between the Signifier and the Signified in Quranic Examples: A Semiotic Study,” took place in the Sadiq al-Ameen Hall at the College of Islamic Sciences.

The examination committee included:

  1. Prof. Dr. Hazem Fadel Mohammed from the University of Karbala, College of Islamic Sciences, as the Chairman.
  2. Assistant Prof. Dr. Ali Husseini Shalakha from the University of Babylon, as a Member.
  3. Assistant Prof. Dr. Nabil Salal Huwail from the University of Karbala, College of Islamic Sciences, as a Member.
  4. Prof. Dr. Amjad Hameed Al-Fadhil from the University of Karbala, College of Islamic Sciences, as a Member and Supervisor.

The thesis was approved with a grade of “Very Good.”
