The College of Islamic Sciences discusses the authority of a Muslim in enjoining good and forbidding evil in Islamic jurisprudence

The Master’s thesis entitled “The Authority of a Muslim in Enjoining Good and Forbidding Evil in Islamic Jurisprudence” by the student Ali Mohammed Abdul Hussein Mohammed Sadiq was defended at the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala. The defense took place in the Al-Sadiq Al-Amin (PBUH) hall within the college.

The objective of the thesis is to understand the powers granted by the sacred law to the entrusted Muslim in order to enjoin good and forbid evil. Enjoining good and forbidding evil is the path of the prophets and the approach of the righteous. It is a significant obligation through which religious duties are established, beliefs are secured, gains are legitimate, injustices are redressed, land is cultivated, enemies are repelled, and affairs are set right.
