The University of Karbala Council honored the Dean and faculty of the College of Islamic Sciences and the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department for the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education receiving the Excellence Certificate from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

The President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Basim Khalil Al-Saidi, honored Dr. Muhammad Al-Taie, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Dr. Muhammad Nazem Muhammad, Head of the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education, Dr. Muhammad Naama Al-Ghanmi, Director of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, and Assistant Lecturer Mustafa Hussein Abdul Rasul, Head of the Quality Assurance Division in the college, for their efforts in achieving this advanced rank among similar departments in governmental and private universities.

The Excellence Certificate provides motivation and competition in institutional and programmatic performance across colleges and universities.
