Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences Chairs Ministerial Committee for Evaluating Academic and Scientific Standards

The Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Muhammad Hussein Aboud Al-Taie, led a delegation from the ministerial committee responsible for evaluating the academic and scientific standards of Islamic Sciences colleges in Iraqi universities. The delegation visited the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Babylon, where they were welcomed by the Dean, Professor Dr. Hassan Obaid Al-Maamouri, along with his administrative and academic assistants.

The committee conducted a comprehensive tour of the college, inspecting the library, storage facilities, classrooms, college laboratory, and maintenance room. They thoroughly reviewed all documents and evidence related to the various evaluation criteria. A portion of their visit was dedicated to an on-site inspection of the Quranic Language Department building, where they assessed its equipment and the extent to which it met the required academic standards and criteria.

The visit included constructive discussions with the academic staff on ways to enhance the educational process and strengthen the college’s role within the student community. The committee members commended the college’s efforts to ensure quality and achieve high academic standards.
