The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, held a seminar titled “The Role of Unions in Protecting Employee Rights,” presented by Assistant Lecturer Salem Mohammed Naima.

The seminar aimed to highlight key guarantees that allow unions to function effectively and independently, emphasizing the role of unions, associations, and federations as essential bodies for ensuring freedom of expression. The session underscored the importance of unions having autonomy in setting internal regulations, granting union members full freedom to express and advocate for union-related ideas in accordance with the law.
