The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala hosted a training course titled “The Guidance Approach to Preparing Psychological Counselors,” presented by Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Hussein Al-Zirjawi, Head of the Psychological Guidance Division, and Dr. Hussam Saleh Abdul-Hussein Al-Rubaie, Head of the Guidance Unit in the College of Education for Human Sciences.

The course aimed to enhance the skills of faculty members responsible for guidance units across the university’s colleges. It covered the objectives and significance of psychological counseling, particularly in supporting student well-being and addressing academic and personal challenges.

Additionally, the course provided detailed instruction on essential guidance records, enabling unit heads and their teams to document and manage cases effectively, ensuring optimal support for students.
