As part of academic collaboration among humanities faculties, Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Abdul Kadhim from the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education at the College of Islamic Sciences participated as a committee member in a PhD dissertation defense at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Karbala.

The dissertation, by student Ghassan Ghazi Al-Jashaami, was titled *”Hassan Al-Amin and His Method in Historical Writing: A Study of the Book *Mustadrakat A‘yan al-Shi‘a* (1908-2002).”*

The dissertation was accepted with a rating of Very Good (High).
