The Special Needs Unit at the University of Karbala held a lecture titled “Technological Advancements and Their Impact on the Lives of the Visually Impaired: Between Reality and Aspiration,” presented by researcher Mohammad Taklif. The event took place on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 9:30 AM in the Imam Al-Sadiq Hall at the College of Islamic Sciences.

In the lecture, the researcher highlighted the role of technology in aiding the visually impaired to integrate into work and education. Despite facing many challenges, they have managed to overcome them, proving their resilience and determination. The advances in technology have enabled them to leave a unique mark through their work and achievements, showcasing how technology has become an essential tool in empowering and enhancing their quality of life.
