College of Islamic Sciences Collaborates in Organizing a Scientific Symposium on Green Education

The College of Islamic Sciences, in collaboration with the Women’s Affairs Unit in the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, organized a symposium titled “Green Education Towards a Sustainable University Environment.”

Professors Dr. Amjad Hamid Al-Fadel and Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Abdul-Kadhim Al-Kraiti from the College of Islamic Sciences led the symposium, aiming to promote awareness of effective green education within the university environment.

The symposium discussed the concept of green education, its significance, related applications, and ways to foster a sustainable “green mindset” that supports intellectual growth within an enriching educational environment.

Recommendations included adopting the philosophy of green education and integrating its themes and applications as a key educational approach.
