Abstract

The image is one of the graphic means with a broad horizon in the ability to create a world dominated by beauty and artistic pleasure. The image is one of the techniques that can create a spacious reality or imagination that draws the features of a society, a personality, or a spatial or temporal environment. He is killed on the battlefield, as well as the image presented by contemporary Iraqi vertical poetry towards the martyr who is killed on the battlefield. The truth and reality, and the other is the negative face that reflects the reality on something other than the truth, as it is a source of danger and caution, just as the image is an introductory and explanatory tool through which the learner can identify the thing he wants to know or get to know, and from that we wanted to get to know the image of the martyr by studying the Qur’anic text and models From contemporary Iraqi vertical poetry, and we have chosen the title of the study (The Image of the Martyr between the Holy Qur’an and the contemporary Iraqi vertical poetry of Imam Al-Hussein (PBUH) by choice). The significance of the martyr in the Holy Qur’an, and the second topic is the image of the martyr in the Holy Qur’an and its overall dimensions. The first chapter deals with the symbol, the second deals with intertextuality, the third covers the mask, and the fourth deals with the story, and then a conclusion followed by an index of poets and the sources that the research relied on.
