We spend time searching for the truth of the things around us, thinking that we will find a kind of peace for our souls, not realizing that our exhaustion will only increase day by day, and the wound of truth will deepen. Perhaps we were unaware all this time, unable to perceive things as they truly are. We find ourselves stumbling, not knowing the way to the right path, growing farther from even the lies we had once relied upon. We appear to ourselves as naive and lost, and the search seems futile. Once again, we search for ourselves amidst all this confusion, discarding all the ideals we once lived by, which we had enjoyed repeating. We no longer yearn to search for things that now seem distant and unreachable. We are different today from how we were yesterday, filled with a strange feeling, a feeling of the falseness of everything we thought was true. Matters we had taken as given truths, without ever thinking about them, as if we were in a stupor, oblivious to everything happening around us. So, could it be that the situation we’re experiencing is the same for everyone? Has the search for truth become out of reach? Will we find something in our journey, or will it end with no destination?
