A Faculty Member from the College of Islamic Sciences Participates as a Judge in the Al-Siddiq Al-Akbar Literary Award

Assistant Professor Dr. Saeed Hamid Kazem, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, participated as a member of the judging committee for the Al-Siddiq Al-Akbar Literary Award, organized by the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine.

The award attracted over 200 literary and artistic works from 12 countries, including Yemen, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Iran, Afghanistan, Tunisia, Nigeria, and Iraq.

The award activities included a variety of literary competitions focusing on the personality of Amir al-Mu’minin Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him), such as Best Author, Theatrical Text, Classical Poetry, Literary Novel, Arabic Calligraphy, and Short Story.

Dr. Saeed Hamid Kazem expressed his pride in participating as a judge in this award, praising the distinguished quality of the participating works and the efforts of the organizers in enhancing the role of literature in promoting noble values and human concepts inspired by the path of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
