The Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Professor Dr. Muhammad Hussein Aboud Al-Taie, participated in the activities of the Iraqi-Iranian Science Week held in Holy Karbala.
The event, which included participation from over 100 universities from both countries, featured the signing of an executive program between the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and its Iranian counterpart. The opening ceremony was attended by a representative of the Parliamentary Education Committee, the Governor of Karbala, the Head of the Provincial Council, university presidents, general directors, and cultural advisors.
The second edition of the Iraqi-Iranian Science Week aimed to implement detailed cooperation in the exchange of scientists, professors, and researchers; execution of joint research and technological projects; cultural exchange; scholarships; specialized workshops; promotion of technical and professional collaboration; and the establishment of joint science and technology parks.
The ceremony included official speeches, scientific presentations, and the honoring of several distinguished individuals.
