Faculty Members of the College of Islamic Sciences Participate in the Ministry’s Quranic Competition Selection Tests

Professors from the College of Islamic Sciences participated in the selection tests for the Ministry’s Quranic competition, organized by the Department of Student Activities and the Arts and Cultural Activities Division at the University of Karbala. The participating faculty members were:

  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Salem Jari Hadi
  • Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haider Ramadan Abdul
  • Asst. Prof. Dr. Dhu Al-Fiqar Adel Issa

These tests aimed to select students who will represent the university in the Ministry’s Quranic Competition, scheduled to take place in Basra from February 2 to 6, 2025.

The selection event was attended by the University’s Vice President and the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hussein Aboud Al-Taie. The tests included three main categories to ensure the most qualified students were chosen: Recitation, Memorization, and Interpretation.
