Professor Dr. Muhammad Hussein Abboud, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, participated as a representative of the University President, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid, in the opening ceremony of the International Scientific Conference titled “Imam Hussein: Heir of the Prophets and Descendant of the Guardians.”

The event took place on the 3rd of Sha’ban, corresponding to February 2, 2025, at the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, at exactly 2:30 PM.

The opening ceremony was attended by several academic and religious figures, along with researchers and scholars from various universities and scientific institutions.
