The Agricultural Unit at the College of Islamic Sciences is preparing for active participation in the National Arbor Day, scheduled for Wednesday, March 19, 2025. This initiative is part of the college’s efforts to enhance green spaces within the university campus and contribute to environmental conservation.

As part of these preparations, the Agricultural Unit has developed a comprehensive plan that includes preparing the land, providing saplings, and ensuring the necessary tools for the planting process, all aimed at ensuring the success of the initiative and achieving its environmental goals.

Mr. Mohammed Al-Nasrawi, the Director of the Agricultural Unit, emphasized the importance of student participation in this event, noting that tree planting helps raise environmental awareness among youth and serves as an opportunity to promote community collaboration within the university.

This initiative aligns with the college’s efforts to support environmental sustainability and achieve sustainable development, in line with national initiatives aimed at increasing green spaces and combating desertification.

The College of Islamic Sciences calls on all students, faculty members, and staff to actively participate in this campaign, as it will have a positive impact on both the environment and the community.
