Assistant Professor Dr. Aad Kamil, Head of the Arabic Language Department at the College of Islamic Sciences, participated in the defense of a master’s thesis at the University of Karbala, College of Education for Human Sciences.

The thesis, titled “Poetic Selections in the Book ‘Zawaher Al-Fikr wa Jawaher Al-Faqr’ by Ibn Al-Murabit Al-Muradi (663 AH)”, was presented by researcher Jannat Ali Mahdi.

The study aimed to shed light on the poetic selections in Zawaher Al-Fikr wa Jawaher Al-Faqr, defining them as a fundamental pillar and key aspect of literary composition. It also highlighted their literary, historical, and social significance, as well as the various classification methods used to structure these selections.
