Abstract

The research dealt with the subject of interpretive criticism among the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), which is distinguished from others by many features, as it is based on methodological foundations represented in the tools of thinking and gathering facts that are unique to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), so it was the methodology followed by the imams of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). Peace) in interpretive criticism has a prominent impact in clarifying the Qur’anic truths, because it represents a set of standard patterns and means by which the process of interpreting the Qur’anic text is controlled.
Based on the method of interpretive criticism of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), the imams of the Ahl al-Bayt dealt with solving the interpretive problems in order to express the will of God Almighty in His Noble Book, thus drawing general lines for everyone who wanted to understand the truths of the Noble Qur’an. This was one of the most prominent features of interpretation among the imams. The purpose of this research is to shed light on the most important problems that the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) dealt with using the method of interpretive criticism. One of the most important features of their criticism was the definitive evidence of the Book of God and the Sunnah of the Messenger (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family) and to support their interpretive criticism with evidence and conclusive argument and the role of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). ) in treating it until their criticism became a distinctive feature that made them unique in solving its problem from the rest of the commentators on the basis of looking at all the evidence surrounding the verse according to the nature of the Holy Qur’an
