Abstract

The interpretive efforts of our scholars have reached us hidden within the folds of skin, so it was necessary for our generation to achieve investigative conquests that bring what is hidden to light, so that the investigated text approaches the current moment of reading, and does not remain trapped in the moment in which it was formed and the environment, understanding and interpretation that surrounds it.
No matter how many and varied the studies on the Holy Qur’an are, you will not be able to comprehend the sciences and knowledge contained in it, which since its revelation have constituted fertile material for many scholars, from which each one of them draws from it according to his horizon of knowledge, his sincerity, the challenges of his generation, and the problems that were imposed on his reality. Among those who were exposed to this is Mullah Mohsen. Al-Qazwini in his interpretation (Light of Conciliation and Revealing of Verification), which he came armed with with what would allow him to delve into interpretation, starting with devotion to this noble book and belief in it and its holiness, and ending with the necessity of having the tools that enable him to enter into its horizons, such as knowledge of the sciences of the Qur’an, the sciences of hadith, language, and others.
My attempt is nothing but a sincere expression of reviving the legacy that we inherited from our distinguished scholars (may God have mercy on them). Their manuscripts in this regard are appreciated in order to follow up on the effort they have given us that demonstrates their sincere connection to their great faith and religion. Therefore, it was decided to choose the manuscript entitled (Nour al-Tawfiq and Kashf al- altadqiq) by Mullah Muhsin al-Qazwini to be the subject of this study.
Given that the information was available to me and the distinguished effort to produce this manuscript was firmly established in my mind, which in turn revealed its great scientific importance, the overwhelming desire to serve the dear book pushed me through the distinguished efforts of this man. I finally achieved my goal of serving the Great Qur’an, in addition to the splendor of the performance and the eloquence of expression. The beauty of the presentation, and the self’s acceptance of what the author proposed, all of these reasons had a profound impact on me because his propositions and the importance of the topic were confirmed to him.
This interpretation became the focus of research, and its plan was divided into two parts, one of which was for study, which included three chapters preceded by an introduction to its content. The first was described in the author’s biography. Then we devoted a second chapter to studying (Qur’anic investigations in interpretation), then came the turn of the third chapter, which was full of doctrinal, religious, linguistic, and literary topics. Grammatically and narratively, he was abundant in explaining these topics.
Then he concluded by mentioning the most important results that the researcher reached in this study.
As for the second section, it was concerned with the investigation. It began with a description of the manuscript in its approved version, followed by an explanation of the investigation methodology, then an explanation of the symbols and abbreviations that appeared in the manuscript, with a display of some pictures from the pages of the manuscript, leading to the verified text, then a list of the sources and references that were relied upon in the two sections of the study. And investigation.
The study of the manuscript yielded several results, including:
1- It became clear from the follow-up to Al-Qazwini’s methodology that he relied on the approach of interpreting the Qur’an with the Qur’an, by referring and linking verses to each other, as well as relying on the Qur’anic context in inferring to explain the meanings of some Qur’anic verses, extracting the meaning of the verses to be interpreted within an internal Qur’anic scope from the Qur’an and to the Qur’an.
2 – During the interpretation, Al-Qazwini was exposed to the opinions of scholars on doctrinal or interpretive issues, and he devoted sections to discussing them in response to them, such as Al-Zamakhshari and Al-Baydawi, discussing them, concluding with what he saw as correct based on evidence and evidence.
3-Tafsir Nour al-Tawfiq and Kashf al- altadqiq occupied the forefront in terms of combining approaches and departing from the unilateral tendency that dominated the period in which it was written. It in itself is considered a difficult matter, especially in light of that era, which witnessed divergent approaches at all levels in explaining interpretation, doctrine, jurisprudence, and Sharia in general.
