Abstract
The Holy Qur’an is the Book of God revealed to His Messenger Muhammad (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his family), and it is the book of guidance and light for all people. We find in it many verses that urge Muslims to take initiative and work hard for the sake of God Almighty.
It is no secret that the concept of initiative in the Holy Qur’an is one of the important and prominent topics. It represents one of the basic pillars on which the message of Islam is based, as it is considered one of the most important qualities that a Muslim should possess, and one of the most prominent characteristics that distinguish him from others. Initiative is evident in the Holy Qur’an in many forms and fields, as the Qur’an urges Muslims to have an entrepreneurial spirit in various aspects of life.
The importance of studying the subject becomes clear in that it is one of the most important means that brings the servant closer to his Lord and achieves salvation and prosperity for him in this world and the hereafter, and how it contributes to strengthening the role of the Muslim in progress and sophistication at various levels, because it represents the key to success and progress, and it is a characteristic of developed nations and rising peoples. .
From this standpoint, this thesis came to shed light on the concept of initiative in the Holy Qur’an, explain its most important manifestations and dimensions, and explain its impact and the desired benefit from it in the life of a Muslim, by extrapolating the relevant Qur’anic texts and linking them to the reality of Muslims.
The research used two methodologies: inductive and explanatory in answering the research problem.
The most prominent titles addressed by the research were as follows:
Initiative within the scope of the verses of the doctrinal – 1
Initiation within the scope of the verses of the rulings – 2
Initiative within the scope of educational and moral verses – 3
The most prominent findings of the research :
1- The Holy Qur’an’s interest in the concept of initiative is very interested, and this confirms the keenness of Islam to take initiative in various fields.
2- The concept of initiative is not limited to the material meaning known and comes to mind when launched, but also includes moral meanings and concepts.
3- Crystallization that the Holy Quran has a great impact on the development of Islamic values, principles and ethics by promoting the concept of initiative in Islamic societies, and motivating and encouraging people to do so in daily life
