In a heartwarming scene that reflects the highest values of humanity and paternal spirit, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Rahi Al-Zaidi, a lecturer at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, welcomed students in the exam hall he was supervising in an exceptional and uncommon manner.
Dr. Al-Zaidi took the initiative to distribute bottles of water, cake pieces, and canned milk to the students before the start of the exam. This thoughtful gesture was widely appreciated by students and fellow faculty members alike, as it helped reduce stress and anxiety while fostering a positive and encouraging atmosphere for better performance.
This initiative is a living embodiment of the concept of “educational fatherhood,” which advocates for nurturing students rather than merely evaluating them. It is a humane act that strengthens the bond between teacher and student and leaves a lasting, positive impression on their experience.
