Faculty Member from the College of Islamic Sciences Participates in Master’s Thesis Defense at Wasit University

As part of the ongoing academic collaboration and exchange of expertise between Iraqi universities, Assistant Professor Dr. Hussein Saleh Zahir, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, took part in the defense of a master’s thesis at the College of Education / Department of Arabic Language / Wasit University.

The thesis, titled “Abu al-Barakat al-Anbari in the Studies of Modern Scholars”, explored contemporary scholars’ perspectives on the principles of grammar and selected syntactic issues as discussed by Abu al-Barakat al-Anbari, while highlighting the influence of these views on the development of grammatical studies among modern scholars.

Dr. Hussein Saleh Zahir provided valuable academic feedback and constructive observations that contributed to enhancing the quality of the thesis and ensuring a rigorous scientific discussion. His participation reflects the distinguished role of faculty members from the College of Islamic Sciences in advancing scholarly dialogue and supporting academic development across Iraqi universities.
