Professors from the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala took part in a specialized training course titled “Correcting Official Administrative Correspondence”, organized by the Arabic Language and Literature Division of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Holy Shrine of Imam al-Husayn (pbuh). The sessions were held in the Sayyid al-Shuhada (pbuh) Complex Hall.

The course was delivered by Prof. Dr. Muayyad Jassim and Assistant Prof. Dr. Khalid Abdul-Nabi, who presented a series of lectures focused on enhancing participants’ linguistic and administrative skills, clarifying the proper foundations for drafting official correspondence in accordance with Arabic language rules and recognized administrative standards.

The four-day program, attended by staff members of the Holy Shrine, is part of a series of training initiatives aimed at raising the efficiency of administrative cadres and developing their skills, thereby improving institutional performance and elevating the quality of administrative communication.

Organizers emphasized that the course seeks to unify administrative language and minimize errors in official correspondence, ensuring a more precise and professional image of state institutions and government offices.

The participation of the College of Islamic Sciences’ faculty in such scientific and training activities reflects the college’s pioneering role in serving society and contributing actively to the development of national competencies across various academic and administrative fields.
