Academic Invitation from Hakim Sabzevari University for a Faculty Member at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, as Part of Joint Scientific Cooperation

Assistant Professor Dr. Mawahib Saleh Mahdi, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, received an invitation to teach in the Department of Quranic Sciences at Hakim Sabzevari University in Iran. This comes within the framework of a memorandum of understanding signed between the University of Karbala and Hakim Sabzevari University, which includes provisions for the exchange of academic and scientific expertise in research and teaching.

Dr. Mawahib will be teaching the course (The Quran and the Divine Scriptures) to master’s students from Iraq studying at Hakim Sabzevari University. The teaching will be conducted online, in a way that does not interfere with her academic duties at the University of Karbala.

This invitation was granted under the patronage and approval of Professor Dr. Mohammed Hussein Aboud Al-Taie, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, who emphasized his commitment to activating the provisions of the memorandum of understanding between the two universities and strengthening academic and scientific cooperation—particularly between the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala and the Faculty of Theology and Islamic Studies at Hakim Sabzevari University.

This collaboration represents an important step toward expanding the college’s international partnerships, enhancing its academic standing, and promoting the exchange of expertise between professors and researchers from both universities.
