
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid, President of the University of Karbala, and the supervision of Professor Dr. Mohammed Hussein Al-Taie, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, the College’s Career Development and Employment Unit organized a training course titled “Basics of Microsoft Word.” The course lasted three days and included the participation of a group of students from the college.
The lectures were delivered by:

• Ms. Hadeel Faeq Mahdi
The course focused on the fundamental concepts of Microsoft Word, its types and classifications, and its applications in academic contexts, particularly in writing university research papers. It also included practical exercises on how to use the program, format documents, and create professional templates for academic research.
The training saw strong participation from the college’s students, who expressed their appreciation for the information and hands-on activities provided, emphasizing the importance of such programs in enhancing their technical skills to support their academic journey.
This course comes as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to equip students with essential technical skills that meet the demands of university study and the labor market.
