
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Professor Dr. Mohammed Hussein Al-Taie, the Career Development and Employment Unit at the College of Islamic Sciences held a workshop titled “Developing Job Market Skills for University Students,” presented by Assistant Lecturer Hassan Abdulhadi Rashid.
The workshop focused on enhancing students’ skills in line with labor market demands by developing essential personal and practical competencies for professional success, such as communication, leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
It also aimed to prepare graduates for a smooth transition from academic life to the workplace by building professional networks, gaining practical experience, and improving adaptability to technological changes and the evolving demands of the labor market.
The workshop witnessed active participation from students of the College of Islamic Sciences, who showed great engagement with the topics and benefited from the discussions and practical activities that expanded their understanding of the skills required in the job market.
This workshop is part of a series of activities organized by the Career Development and Employment Unit at the college, aiming to prepare and professionally qualify students to enhance their employability in both local and international labor markets.
