
Dr. Ali Habib, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences, was honored by the legal custodian of the Al-Abbasiya Holy Shrine, His Eminence Allama Sayyid Ahmed Al-Safi, during a scientific seminar held on the occasion of World Arabic Language Day in the holy city of Najaf.
The seminar was organized by the Supreme Commission for Reviving Heritage at the holy shrine under the slogan “Our Arabic Language is the Lady of Languages,” and titled “The Efforts of Prominent Hawza Scholars in Preserving the Arabic Language and Authoring Works in It.” The event was hosted at the Imam Al-Murtadha (peace be upon him) Complex, in cooperation with the Al-Ameed International Center for Research and Studies, affiliated with the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the holy shrine, and the Al-Ameed Scientific and Intellectual Association.
The honoring of participants was attended by Mr. Laith Al-Mousawi, a member of the Board of Directors of the holy shrine, and Sheikh Muslim Radhai, advisor to the Supreme Commission for Reviving Heritage, in appreciation of their scholarly efforts and active participation in the event.
