Conclusion of the Second International Scientific Conference of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala

The proceedings of the Second International Scientific Conference of the College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala, held in cooperation with the Martyr Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr Foundation (May He Be Sanctified), concluded with a closing ceremony chaired by Dr. Khalid al-Asadi and Dr. Muhammad Hassoun.

The closing ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, delivered by the reciter Dr. Muhammad Hassoun, followed by a speech by the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Professor Dr. Muhammad Hussein Ubood al-Ta’i. In his address, he expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to all participants, researchers, and members of the scientific and organizing committees, praising their efforts in ensuring the success of this academic event. He also emphasized the importance of continuing to hold scientific conferences that contribute to strengthening academic research and serving contemporary Islamic thought.

The conference’s final statement was then delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Mujib Saad, a faculty member at the College. The statement included a number of constructive academic recommendations, most notably the emphasis on developing studies related to the thought of Martyr Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr (May He Be Sanctified) and activating their outcomes in the fields of scientific research and community building.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, participating researchers and members of the scientific and organizing committees were honored in recognition of their academic efforts and their effective role in the success of the conference, amid wide acclaim for the high quality of the research papers and discussions presented during its sessions.
