An Academic Visit Expands Horizons of Scholarly Cooperation between the College of Islamic Sciences and Iranian Universities

Within the framework of strengthening scientific and academic cooperation, Dr. Mawahib Al-Khatib, a faculty member at the College of Islamic Sciences, University of Karbala, participated in an academic visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran. The visit included a number of universities and research centers in the cities of Mashhad and Sabzevar, as part of the implementation of the memoranda of understanding concluded between the University of Karbala and its Iranian counterparts.

The visit included participation in an academic conference at Ferdowsi University, as well as official visits to Imam Reza University (peace be upon him) and Hakim Sabzevari University. Discussions focused on mechanisms for scientific cooperation, the exchange of research expertise, joint supervision of postgraduate students, and activating the signed agreements between corresponding colleges.

The visit also involved reviewing the output of specialized scientific research centers and discussing the possibility of joint participation in academic journals and the exchange of publications, contributing to the support and advancement of scientific research at the College of Islamic Sciences.

This academic visit aims to build bridges of scientific and cultural cooperation, open new horizons for academic integration, and enhance the international academic presence of the College of Islamic Sciences.
