The College of Islamic Sciences Holds a Meeting of the Industrial Advisory Council with the Participation of Several Official Departments in Karbala

The College of Islamic Sciences held its meeting of the Industrial Advisory Council with the participation of a group of representatives from official departments and institutions in Karbala Governorate. The meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation between the college and various community sectors and to discuss ways to align educational outcomes with the needs of the labor market.

The participating entities included the Karbala Health Department, the Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Affairs, the Department of Family Guidance and Counseling at the Holy Shrine of Imam Al-Hussain (peace be upon him), the Shiite Endowment Office, and the College of Basic Education at Al-Ameed University affiliated with the Holy Shrine of Al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The guests were received by the Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Professor Dr. Mohammed Hussein Aboud, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Khudair Jassim Haloub, the Head of the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Ammar Al-Ansari, the Head of the Department of Jurisprudence and its Fundamentals, Assistant Professor Dr. Asmaa Qasim, and the Head of the Department of Arabic Language, Professor Dr. Hazem Fadel. They welcomed the attendees, expressing appreciation for their prompt and gracious response to the invitation.

During the meeting, discussions focused on mechanisms to activate the role of the Industrial Advisory Council between the college and the participating institutions, as well as exploring ways to develop mutual cooperation that would help prepare the college’s students and graduates to meet labor market requirements.

The representatives of the participating departments expressed their full readiness for future cooperation in this field, praising the warm reception and excellent organization. They also emphasized the importance of continuing such fruitful meetings, which contribute positively to the advancement of the educational process and the service of society.
