The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala Wins Third Place in the Ninth National Qur’anic Competition

The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Karbala achieved a distinguished accomplishment by securing third place in the Ninth National Team Qur’anic Competition, which witnessed the participation of more than forty Iraqi universities from various provinces.

The competition was organized under the patronage of the General Secretariat of the Holy Shrine of Imam al-Husayn / House of the Noble Qur’an, and its events were held in Al-Sanhouri Hall at the College of Law over three consecutive days. The program featured outstanding Qur’anic performances, along with scholarly and spiritual competitions characterized by wide attendance and elevated faith-filled atmospheres.

The organizing committee expressed its appreciation for the high level demonstrated by the participating teams and praised the performance of the University of Karbala’s team, which excelled in the quality of recitation, accuracy in performance, and Qur’anic knowledge.

This achievement adds a new milestone to the record of successes accomplished by the College of Islamic Sciences in various scholarly and religious forums.
